READING RATE: Can’t put down!
NUMBER RATE: 9.5
Sometimes I go to the library without a specific book to get. When this happens I go over to the Young Adult section and pull out random books. This time I pulled out a book called Crash by Lisa McMann. I know most people say don’t judge a book by its cover but I don’t follow that. If I don’t like the cover of the book I don’t read it. The cover is an eye with fire in it. I found it very intriguing so of course, I had to get it.
Jules’s family runs a italian restaurant, her dad is a hoarder and she is a girl who is seeing things. Yes, we all see things but Jules is seeing things a normal person can’t, visions. Jules is seeing visions that haunt her. Everywhere she goes, every place she looks, they replay. Explosions, crashes, body bags. After seeing these visions for a period of time she recognizes one of the faces peeking out of the body bag. It’s someone that she she has loved since they have first met. Who is it? Check Crash out of your local library to find out!
I rate this book a “can't put down” or a 9.5. It was amazing. Although it is a sad topic it is exciting with every turn of a page. When reading Crash I had no clue what could happen. Thats how I know its a good book. I really felt the same emotions as Jules and once I had finished, I wiped away my tears and moved on to the second book in the series.
